How Does Self-Storage Work?

We offer month-to-month units for you to rent as long as you'd like! Simply click 'Rent Now' to select a unit, sign up online, and then you can move your belongings on the same day. When you no longer need the space, let us know and you're free to move out on any day you'd like!

What's Not Allowed In My Storage Unit?

Anything illegal or dangerous is not permitted at Sunbury Secure Storage. Prohibited uses include:

• Storing living animals or carcasses, perishables, flammables, or hazardous materials

• Using for habitation, as a workshop, place of business, or space for music performances

• Installing or attaching items to the walls, structural supports, or otherwise modifying the units

• Storing items prone to mildew or improperly stored food that may attract pests

Do You Have Climate Controlled Units?

No - we do not offer any climate controlled units. As such, you should take precautions to protect your belongings if you are storing items that are sensitive to temperature fluctuations or humidity.

Does Anyone Else Have Access To My Unit?

No. You alone control access to your self-storage unit, unless YOU choose to give someone else access.

What If I Select The Wrong Size Unit?

If you need to make a change after looking at your unit, or at a later date, contact us and we can help transfer your rental (subject to availability).

What Type of Lock Should I Use?

We generally recommend disc locks or cylinder locks due to their enhanced security and durability. Disc locks are especially popular because they are designed with a rounded shackle, making them more difficult to cut with bolt cutters. We offer disc locks for a small rental fee.

Do You Offer Any Discounts?

We strive to remain Sunbury's most affordable storage solution with our price match guarantee. We offer a 10% military discount as well as a referral bonus if you are an existing client and refer new business who ends up renting. We occasionally offer move-in specials depending on time of year.

When is Rent Due and How Can I Pay?

Rent is due on the 1st of each month. Payment is accepted online via credit card or ACH. A late fee may be assessed on the 3rd day past due. Rents are prorated based on move-in date. Sales tax, credit card, or ACH fee may apply.

How Much Notice Do I Need to Give Before Moving Out?

A 10-day notice is required. At the time of your move out just remove your lock, remove your items, and broom clean your space. Take a picture of the empty unit and send it to sunburysecurestorage@gmail.com. Units that have not been properly cleaned may be charged an additional cleaning fee.
